My Visit to the Veterinarian!

When my Mom says, "Come along!", I am ready to go out the door.  I LOVE getting to go on an adventure.  This time we went to the vet.  When I first got there, I met a new friend, Charlie the Dog.  Then I got put on the scale.  After that I had to wait in this room:

I get very nervous when I have to wait for the doctor.  I look at the door so my Mom can tell that I'm ready to go.  I also put my tail between my legs to show that I REALLY want to go.  Of course, I didn't get to go until I saw the vet who was very nice to me:

Wow, going to the vet was fun - I got LOTS of attention!  I even got four shots, and they didn't even hurt!

On the way out, there was a cage on the floor.  I looked in, and it was a cat.  I pulled on my leash so hard because I really did need to go - I'm afraid of cats, and I don't want to get hurt!

Like I always say, it's important to take good care of yourself, and that means you have to go to the doctor.  The best part - doctors are really caring and nice.  They want you to enjoy getting your check-up.  Now I just have to learn to not be so nervous.

Let's Play "Where's Gabi the Dog in the snow?"

Every day I seem to be sitting on the front steps watching my Mom shovel snow.  It just seems to snow ALL the time.  Can you even see me in this picture?

I really miss eating sticks and sniffing the grass in my neighborhood!

Like I always say, make sure to wear a warm coat, like me.  I always go out prepared with my always-on fur coat.  My fur coat is coming in quite handy in this snowy and cold weather.  You won't hear me saying "Brrr."

When the Patriots win, I win too!

My Dad LOVES the Patriots.  That's why I have to wear that shirt that says "Patriots" on it - just in case you were wondering why I would wear clothes.  I have NO choice; when the Patriots are on TV, I'm wearing my shirt.  When my Dad is quiet (which means the Patriots aren't doing well), I take advantage and lay down.  When my Dad is yelling and jumping, I sit up and take notice:

I even wore my jingle bell collar for extra excitement!  The best part is when my Dad is watching the TV, he likes to eat which means EXTRA treats for me.  Even more important, the Patriots won so my Dad is in AN EXCELLENT mood which usually means that he's happy and might share more treats with me.

Like I always say, spend time with your family because you get to have company, and you usually get treats, too.  I'm always happiest and luckiest when I get to spend time with my family!
